The All 4 Kids Children’s Consignment Sale (East and West Cobb location) takes place at Jim R. Miller Park & Event Center’s 25,000 sq ft event facility. The All 4 Kids consignment sale is billed as “Atlanta’s Biggest and Best Children’s Consignment Sale!”

The sale features items from over 750 families. You can also join as a volunteer for a shift and shop first for the very best bargains. Sellers make 65% and can shop early opening day.  Volunteers can earn up to 80% on the first $500 of their sales.

The sale takes place two times each year. The March sale features spring and summer items and the August sale includes items for the fall and winter.

Cobb County Library Book Sale

The Cobb County Library and The Friends of the Library are hosting their semi-annual book sale at the Cobb Civic Center. Over 100,000 items are for sale at the event which takes place in the spring and fall for three days beginning on Friday. Sale items include books both hardbound and paperback for children, young adults, and adults; audio-visuals including books on tape and compact disc; videocassettes; compact discs; records; magazines; and comic books. All proceeds are used to purchase new books and other library materials.

Sharock Shuffle 5k

The Marietta Shamrock Shuffle is a 5k run-walk event commencing and ending in the beautiful Marietta Square. Runners and walkers of all skill levels are encouraged to join in on the fun. The event is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier and all proceeds benefit the Marietta Police Athletic League’s  youth sports, academic and recreation programs.

Marietta Police Athletic League’s target population consists of youth who reside within the City of Marietta. Police Athletic League currently serves nearly 400 youth annually through sports, recreation, mentoring and education programs.
